Prior Authorization Specialist – CPhT | Montvale, NJ HealthCare Support is seeking a Prior Authorization Specialist - CPhT to join a growing Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) organization in Montvale. This is a great opportunity for a Certified Pharmacy Technician looking to utilize their pharmacy experience in a non-retail, office-based setting. You'll focus on prior authorizations, pharmacy claims, and resolving coverage issues to help members access their medications. Schedule
  • Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM-7:00 PM
  • Onsite in Montvale, NJ
Compensation
  • Up to $60,000 annually, depending on experience

Daily Responsibilities
  • Provide efficient administrative and operational support to adjudication, prior authorization, and clinical review teams. Accurately process claim overrides and case documentation in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure compliance with all turnaround times and quality metrics to meet member and client expectations. Assist clinical pharmacists and operations teams with workflow management and reporting needs.
Required Qualifications:
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
  • Claims adjudication, prior authorization expertise
  • Strong customer service orientation and commitment to delivering concierge-level service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
