As Privacy Engineer at Dyson, you will partner with the Research, Design and Development and Connectivity teams to embed privacy by design into product development and ensure data use complies with laws. You’ll provide expert privacy guidance to cross‑functional stakeholders, lead privacy impact assessments, and help develop frameworks and training. You will monitor evolving privacy laws and support global compliance activities. This role sits in the Global Privacy Team within Dyson Legal and offers the chance to influence how privacy integrates into innovative products at scale.

- Serve as the main privacy advisor for the RDD and Connectivity teams
- Provide privacy compliance guidance for new projects involving personal data
- Embed Privacy by Design principles from early development stages
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and help develop new frameworks and training
- Monitor regulatory developments to maintain ongoing compliance
- Support the Global Privacy Team’s ongoing compliance activities
- 5+ years of privacy compliance experience in a global company
- Experience integrating privacy requirements into product development cycles
- Strong knowledge of privacy laws and data protection across technologies
- Relevant degree qualification (technology, law or business)
- Privacy-related qualifications (CIPM, CIPP/E or CIPP/A)
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders regionally or globally
- Ability to interpret legislation and work with risk and governance frameworks
