Scotiabank is seeking an Associate Private Banker to manage less complex credits within a Private Banking Unit. You will provide customer service, administer assigned accounts, and support retail and small business solutions. This work requires knowledge of credit principles, products, systems, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in credit management for the unit’s portfolio
• Manage a designated portfolio of less complex credits
• Administer assigned accounts through sound advice
• Assist effective Private Banking Unit operation
• Comply with regulatory requirements during service processes

Requirements:

• Detailed understanding of commercial and retail credit principles
• Thorough knowledge of retail banking products and systems
• Understanding of tax, estate, and financial planning
• Knowledge of investment vehicles and financial planning proficiency
• Ability to balance multiple conflicting priorities
