Private Banking Credit Manager

Manage complex credit for high net worth clients at CIBC Private Wealth Management in Montreal, applying financial analysis and credit structuring expertise. Work arrangements combine on-site and remote work as discussed during interviews.

As Credit Manager, you will manage credit quality within Private Banking under the Director, Credit. You will support Private Banking Advisors, assess financial information, structure lending facilities, and oversee existing credit portfolios. The work serves individuals, families, holding companies, trusts, estates, and foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial information for complex high net worth credit requests
• Recommend lending facilities and appropriate security structures
• Prepare applications using iCap and CLASS credit platforms
• Monitor expiries, reviews, and information across the credit book
• Prepare deal summaries for large credit requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably focused on business or finance
• Knowledge of personal and commercial lending credit principles
• Experience analyzing financial statements within credit applications
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency and computer literacy
• Fluency in French and English
