Private Equity Valuation Associate

Build financial models and valuation analysis as a Private Equity Associate supporting investment decisions from Toronto’s in-person office.

This Associate role supports the investment process within a team of seasoned investment professionals. You will analyze public securities and private companies, develop return scenarios, and present findings to senior personnel. The position is based in person at Yonge and St. Clair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate public securities and private company opportunities
• Develop financial models and industry overviews
• Prepare expected return scenarios for investments
• Present analytical findings to senior personnel
• Improve information gathering and knowledge management, including CRM

Requirements:

• Minimum two to three years of relevant experience
• Investment banking experience at a top tier platform is an asset
• Undergraduate degree and strong academic standing
• CFA enrollment or CA qualification is an asset
• Detail-oriented, self-starting, team-oriented investment mindset
