Overview

As Process Architect for the SZC project, you will shape and oversee digital and IT-driven business change across a multi-programme context. You will refine processes, drive best practice, and ensure measurable benefits through strong governance and KPI definition. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver transformation that supports the UK’s nuclear megaprojects and energy policy goals. This role offers meaningful impact across strategic digital change and operational readiness.

Responsibilities
  • Improve transformation strategy across the SZC digital and IT programme
  • Define and refine digital processes and procedures
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to solve business challenges and promote best practices
  • Manage multiple workstreams with Process Architects, Business Analysts and Project Managers
  • Quality assure deliverables and ways of working across projects
  • Provide Intelligent Customer Oversight on business change activities with digital partners and SI
  • Manage external stakeholders and costs aligned to the Business Case
  • Ensure digital business cases include benefits and KPIs for realisation
  • Report Business Change performance to Client Business Change Manager
  • Mentor and line-manage junior resources when required
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in managing and delivering people-side change
  • Experience managing multiple business change workstreams in an IT environment
  • Extensive business process analysis and modelling experience
  • Good understanding of IT software and infrastructure
  • Experience in business process reengineering and process improvement drivers
  • Familiar with standard process redesign techniques
  • Six Sigma Black or Green Belt certification
  • Structured analysis and documentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal, influence, and communication abilities
  • Leadership capabilities and experience managing change coordination across programmes
  • Coaching ability for junior resources
  • Member of ACPM or CMI with Prosci or APMG Change Management qualification
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent
  • Previous experience in nuclear, energy, construction or manufacturing desirable
