Product Analyst (Tax)

Overview
As Product Analyst in a growing investment management business, you will support the full product lifecycle—from strategy and development to governance and adviser engagement. You will analyse performance, market trends and tax- and regulatory developments to shape propositions. You’ll collaborate with Sales, Marketing and partners to answer product questions and produce materials. You’ll drive due diligence, data management and portfolio oversight to deliver high-impact, tax-efficient investment solutions.
Responsibilities- Support the development and launch of new investment products and enhancements to existing propositions
- Monitor product performance, key metrics and commercial trends
- Conduct competitor and market analysis to support product strategy and decision-making
- Develop technical and product knowledge to assist Sales, Marketing and other teams with product queries
- Monitor tax, regulatory and market developments and provide internal briefings
- Support adviser and partner engagement, including presentations, events and product materials
- Coordinate product due diligence, data management and third-party information requests
- Support product governance, oversight and ongoing portfolio management
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent Excel skills and an interest in using technology, automation and AI to improve processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working on complex projects or multiple workstreams
- Commercially minded, proactive and intellectually curious
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Desirable: Relevant qualification or experience in tax, accountancy or law
- Desirable: Understanding of tax-efficient investments and/or UK personal taxation
- Desirable: Experience within financial services, investments, wealth management or the adviser market
