Product Architect Internet Security

Shape Internet Security architecture at Akamai using distributed systems, data analytics, and attack detection expertise. Work through FlexBase at home, in an office, or both. As a Product Architect, you will design new security products and features for Akamai’s Bot and Agent Control portfolio. You will translate requirements into end-to-end architecture spanning configuration, reporting, runtime systems, analytics, and detection. The role supports customer value across global enterprise security products. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with product management to finalize technology-aligned requirements Define end-to-end architecture and functionality for systems Address security and service needs with partner organizations Present designs for review and guide engineering implementation Share security expertise and contribute to technical roadmaps Requirements:

Eight years of experience and a related bachelor’s degree Experience designing large-scale, low-latency distributed web systems Knowledge of big data analytics, machine learning, or AI End-to-end design vision with SDLC and web technology knowledge Strong presentation, collaboration, research, and documentation skills Build Akamai security products through architecture, analytics, distributed systems, and customer-focused technical leadership across FlexBase.
