Product Control Associate Investment Operations

Apply investment accounting, P&L analysis, and portfolio monitoring as a Product Control Associate at CPP Investments in Toronto. This is a nine-month contract.

As an Associate, Product Control, you will support public or private market investment operations. Your work will cover performance analysis, financial results, valuations, and daily reporting. You will collaborate with Investment, Finance, Legal, and Risk teams to resolve discrepancies and maintain financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and validate daily P&L reporting
• Investigate variances, exceptions, and attribution results
• Reconcile IBOR, sub-ledger, and ABOR data
• Support investment closings, settlements, and system setups
• Review valuations, financial statements, and management reports

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree or related college diploma
• Five or more years of relevant professional experience
• Strong financial and management accounting understanding
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Knowledge of Murex or SimCorp is an asset
