Product Data Governance Specialist

Shape how product data works across Canadian Tire Corporation’s merchandising systems in Toronto, with SQL, data lineage, and automation at the centre. This hybrid contract requires four in-office days weekly.

The Analyst, Merch Data Governance owns business problems from investigation through implementation. You will strengthen product data quality, lifecycle management, attributes, taxonomy, and recurring data flows. You will also bridge merchandising needs and technology teams through clear requirements, solution design, UAT, and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take accountability for product data quality and lifecycle
• Assess business impact and partner with IT on fixes
• Strengthen recurring processes, integrations, and data controls
• Lead UAT and communicate solution-focused recommendations
• Reduce manual effort with low-code and AI tools

Requirements:

• Proven end-to-end ownership of analytical business problems
• Strong analytical skills and comfort with data models
• Knowledge of retail product data and taxonomy
• Experience with automation, low-code, and AI tools
• Ability to manage competing priorities independently
