Product Development Manager

In this role you will lead a Product Development team across multiple agile feature teams, translating product strategy and customer needs into measurable delivery outcomes. You will collaborate with Product, UX and Technology to ensure insights, design and technical constraints inform decisions from the outset. You’ll create clarity in complex environments, manage dependencies and unblock decisions to deliver high-quality digital experiences. • Lead, coach and support a Product Development team across multiple agile feature teams
• Define and maintain high standards for product definition, requirements, acceptance criteria, refinement and Definition of Ready
• Clarify work with consideration of customer, business, technical, regulatory and operational factors
• Help teams resolve ambiguity and manage dependencies to unblock decisions
• Translate product strategy and customer needs into deliverable outcomes with Product Managers
• Partner with UX and Technology to align decisions with customer insight, architecture and APIs
• Facilitate cross-disciplinary decision making and stakeholder alignment
• Build relationships across Product Development and the broader business to influence stakeholders
• Communicate priorities, decisions and outcomes clearly across affected teams
• Align product development activities with wider programme plans and delivery commitments

• Significant experience in product development, product ownership or digital delivery
• Experience leading or working across multiple agile feature teams
• Experience across Product, UX and Technology in a multidisciplinary digital environment
• Track record of defining, refining and delivering digital product requirements
• Experience coaching or leading Product Owners, Business Analysts or similar roles
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Ability to operate at both strategic and detailed levels
• Collaborative leadership style with constructive challenge in complex environments
• Experience delivering consumer-facing digital products in a regulated environment is beneficial
