Product Development Manager

Overview
In this role you will shape a new internal systems product function for a major sports organisation. You will own the vision and roadmap for corporate systems across HR, Finance, Procurement and Operations, and lead end-to-end delivery from design to deployment. You will drive integrations with broader enterprise platforms and govern security, data protection, and change control. You will manage vendor relationships, track budgets and enable adoption through training and communications. This is a greenfield opportunity to impact how critical business functions operate at scale.
Responsibilities- Define product vision and roadmap for HR, Finance, Procurement and Operations
- Own end-to-end product lifecycle from requirements through deployment
- Build and manage integrations with enterprise platforms (working with Enterprise Architecture)
- Govern change control, security and data protection
- Manage vendor and third-party delivery relationships
- Track budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery
- Drive user adoption via training, communication and support
- Proven experience delivering product or technology for HR, Finance or ERP systems
- Strong understanding of core business processes across HR and Finance
- Excellent stakeholder engagement with senior executives (CFO/CTO)
- Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and within budget
- Knowledge of data privacy and compliance standards including GDPR
- Experience with Agile or SAFe delivery
