Product Manager - Data User Experience - BQuant

In this role you own the Data User Experience for BQuant, shaping how users discover, access, and work with Bloomberg data and analytics. You will drive the end-to-end data experience, roadmap, and API abstractions, enabling seamless integration of Bloomberg and client datasets for research, trading, and AI applications. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Quants, and data teams to support exploratory and production-grade workflows, ensuring data reliability, governance, and security. The role offers scope to influence platform strategy and deliver scalable data capabilities that empower time-to-value for code-aware users.

• Define and execute the data user experience vision and roadmap for BQuant
• Own backlog prioritization and balance short-term improvements with long-term scalability
• Build and evolve a scalable data analytics platform with easy data integration and enrichment
• Define API abstractions for financial and alternative datasets
• Ensure data provisioned with SLAs, reliability, and performance
• Support batch and streaming data workflows and enforce robust data governance
• Enable data-intensive workflows across research, backtesting, and production
• Collaborate with data-producing teams and cross-functional groups to onboard datasets and deliver cohesive solutions
• Balance internal platform needs with external client requirements

• 5+ years in product strategy and execution for platform products
• Experience building or leading data platforms or analytics infrastructure
• Strong understanding of data access patterns, APIs, and data modeling
• Experience with large-scale datasets, including time series and streaming data
• Experience applying AI/ML to solve customer problems and translate into product strategy
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong collaboration with Engineering, Quants, and business teams
• Understanding of workflows across research, analytics, and trading
• Experience enabling multi-dataset integration and insights generation
• Familiarity with data quality, entitlements, security, and governance challenges
