Overview

In this role you will drive product development for unstructured data assets used by leading financial clients. You will collaborate with technologists to shape text-focused and multimodal data products, translate client needs into development plans, and supervise quality and onboarding processes. You will be a subject-matter expert in client discussions, helping to showcase product value at sales events and industry forums. This is an opportunity to impact how finance professionals access AI-powered analytics from unstructured content.

Responsibilities
  • Understand client needs and identify new use cases
  • Define product development plans for text and unstructured data
  • Coordinate engineering resources and manage development initiatives
  • Assess new unstructured data sources for quality and potential
  • Create and maintain client-facing technical documentation
  • Design protocols for product quality checks
  • Provide quantitative research to support testing and onboarding
  • Act as SME in client discussions and industry events
Key requirements
  • 5+ years in a financial or technology company
  • Hands-on experience with unstructured text data (NLP, text analytics, large corpora, or LLM pipelines)
  • Knowledge of Python or SQL; ETL understanding is a plus
  • Understanding of data structures, algorithms, ML, and quantitative trading
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Sense of humor is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in business, finance, or engineering-related field
