As Senior Product Manager in Wire’s Product Engineering, you lead cross‑functional delivery to turn strategy into a well‑prioritized backlog. You partner with the Product Manager to synchronize vision with execution, ensuring clear epics, stories, and acceptance criteria. You own agile rituals, shield scope from churn, and champion efficient delivery through automation and informed trade‑offs. You thrive in a privacy‑conscious, security‑minded environment that values continuous improvement and cross‑team collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Own and prioritize product backlog and sprint scope
  • Write epics, user stories and acceptance criteria and map them to the roadmap
  • Lead refinement, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives to keep delivery visible
  • Coordinate dependencies across scopes and disciplines and manage cross‑scope rituals
  • Decide on bug fixes vs. shipping with known issues in collaboration with Product Manager
  • Organize cross‑scope ideation and support strategy and vision discussions
  • Leverage AI tooling to automate backlog drafting, status updates, and release notes
  • Coach the team on agile ways of working and improve planning and delivery processes
  • Act as Scrum Master for the scope, facilitating ceremonies and sustaining focus
Key requirements
  • Solid experience owning backlog and running Agile rituals for a cross‑functional team
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to translate ambiguous priorities into clear epics and stories
  • Confident in facilitating refinement, sprint planning, demos and retrospectives
  • Good judgement for trade‑offs and release decisions with Product Manager
  • Hands‑on with Jira (including Jira Product Discovery) and managing dependencies
  • Technical fluency to collaborate with developers, tech leads, designers and QA
  • Experience with AI tools in delivery context and interest in automating operational tasks
  • Coaching mindset to grow team agile and product maturity
  • Experience moving from Scrum Master to Product Ownership is a plus
