Product Support Engineering Apprentice

At Boeing Defence UK (BDUK), we are looking for a Product Support Engineering Apprentice to support new business opportunities and existing product platforms, mainly fixed and rotor wing aircraft. This role will be within the Product Support Engineering Department and will involve collaboration across engineering disciplines and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team and carry out the execution of contracted Product Support work.
• Provide analytical capability to transform information and data.
• Collaborate with other Engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure consistency of working methods and activities across all projects.
• Conduct specialist tasks in the Product Support discipline employed.
• Coordinate, monitor, establish Key Performance Indicators and report status of Product Support activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• 3 A-levels or equivalent grade A*-C, and 5 GCSEs (grade 9/A*-4/C) including Maths and English.
• Essential to be able to obtain UK Security Clearance.
• A clear communicator with a can‑do attitude who is driven, committed and passionate about continuously improving quality of service.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a BPSS clearance and, for the successful candidate, an intrusive security clearance process requiring 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK.
