Production Engineering & Test Manager

In this role you will own the development and introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies for hybrid microelectronic packaging and high-reliability assemblies. You’ll partner with design, manufacturing, and customers to deliver robust, scalable production solutions from concept to release. You’ll address material and integration challenges, drive process improvement, and lead qualification activities. This position offers impact across new product introductions and continuous manufacturing excellence in a fast-paced environment.

• Lead material selection and develop manufacturing processes for new and existing products
• Serve as SME in manufacturing technologies and collaborate across design, manufacturing, and customers
• Define and guide development work packages with Process Engineering
• Support new product introductions and ensure smooth transition to production
• Create, review, and maintain manufacturing documentation (work instructions, process specs, BOMs)
• Partner with Quality to define and execute qualification plans for new products and processes
• Engage with external suppliers/contractors to evaluate and introduce new capabilities
• Communicate technical updates and project status to stakeholders and management
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and yield
• Contribute to overall engineering team performance and assume additional responsibilities as needed

• Proven experience in technology development, process engineering, and manufacturing support
• Strong understanding of manufacturing materials
• Practical experience in microelectronics assembly
• Experience in aerospace, semiconductor, microelectronics, or similar high-reliability industries
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Security clearance (SC) or ability to obtain
• Willingness to travel as required
