Perform complex analyses of heat transfer, pipe network flow, thermodynamics, and aircraft icing. Understand and frame the results within the context of aircraft design and right‑sizing. Prepare test plans and coordinate ground and flight test activities. Document analysis findings, test results, and best‑practice recommendations. Write and update engineering practice documents. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering (courses/projects in fluid mechanics, heat transfer, in‑flight icing, and/or CFD). Master’s degree is an asset. 8–12 years of experience in thermodynamics and icing engineering. Self‑motivated, innovative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of Siemens Flomaster is an asset. Programming experience (Unix OS, Fortran 77/95, Visual Basic, C++/C#, Python).
