Professional Services Technical Intern

Apply networking knowledge and technical writing skills as a Professional Services Intern with Axis Communications in Mississauga, Ontario. This is an in-office position.

As a co-op or internship candidate, you will support pre-sales opportunities across Axis products. The Professional Services Group also maintains the Axis Experience Centre, a technical demonstration centre. The placement is available to students enrolled in a qualifying 4, 8, or 12-month program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales design and technical support
• Prepare technical sales materials and system recommendations
• Coordinate site visits, surveys, proofs of concept, and trials
• Maintain technologies in the Axis Experience Centre
• Identify workflow efficiencies and support regional travel

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a secondary institution and qualifying internship program
• Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, protocols, switches, and infrastructure
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
• Professional verbal and listening skills
• Ability to commute to Mississauga and access a vehicle
