Professional Services Technical Intern

Apply networking knowledge and technical writing as a Professional Services Intern with Axis Communications in Mississauga, Ontario. This position is in-office and in-person.

As a student intern, you will support pre-sales opportunities across Axis products and help maintain the Axis Experience Centre. The placement suits students enrolled in a secondary institution and qualified for a 4, 8, or 12-month internship or co-op program. Strong presentation, public speaking, and troubleshooting skills are relevant to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide pre-sales design and support across Axis products
• Prepare technical sales materials and system recommendations
• Coordinate site visits, surveys, proofs of concept, and trials
• Maintain technologies in the Axis Experience Centre
• Identify workflow efficiencies and support Professional Services staff

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a qualifying secondary institution internship or co-op program
• Networking knowledge including TCP/IP, protocols, switches, and infrastructure
• Strong technical writing, presentation, and public speaking skills
• Mature verbal and listening skills with resourceful flexibility
• Ability to travel regionally up to 25% and attend occasional sites
