Programme Manager - Cloud

In this role you lead a major technology transformation programme for a government-focused IT services partner. You’ll translate the transformation strategy into an integrated delivery plan across multiple workstreams, aligning identity, endpoints, productivity, applications, infrastructure, security and transition. You coordinate senior stakeholders, suppliers and delivery teams to manage dependencies, risks and milestones. The role centers on delivering a coherent, controllable programme that supports a secure, scalable cloud and digital transformation.

• Develop and maintain the integrated programme plan with milestones, dependencies and resourcing
• Establish and manage the programme critical path and migration waves
• Identify and resolve cross-workstream dependencies and sequencing
• Coordinate mobilisation across identity, endpoints, productivity, applications, infrastructure, security, testing and transition
• Establish and maintain programme controls (scope, schedule, resources, RAID, change) and governance rhythms
• Run governance meetings and produce clear programme reporting for stakeholders and leadership
• Ensure technical dependencies are reflected in the integrated plan and that planning adapts to discovery progress
• Track resources, forecast capacity, and support budget and supplier commitments
• Manage change control and maintain decision records aligned to architectural and delivery decisions
• Coordinate internal and third-party teams to align supplier activity with priorities and contractual commitments
• Capture lessons learned and ensure they inform future planning
• Deliver clear visibility of programme health, risks, and milestones to stakeholders

• Proven experience delivering complex technology or organisational transformation programmes
• Experience managing multiple technical workstreams (infrastructure, applications, security, end-user tech)
• Strong governance skills (RAID, change control, executive reporting) and financial tracking
• Experience with fixed milestones, migration waves and complex sequencing
• Ability to translate technical detail into clear programme impacts and decisions
• Strong leadership, facilitation and stakeholder management skills
