Programme Support Analyst

In this role you will support the Group Business Solutions IT delivery by strengthening project and portfolio governance. You will work within the UK PSO to ensure quality, risk management, and conformance to plans for an IT transformation programme. You help drive cross-functional coordination, track budgets and KPIs, and prepare material for governance meetings. This is a hands-on analytics and reporting position that shapes the programme’s trajectory and outcomes.

• Assist in overseeing progress across multiple projects and one major programme
• Support portfolio and roadmap managers with strategic tasks: portfolio prep, budget monitoring, demand capacity, Steering Committee prep
• Perform risk management and impact analysis across the programme
• Develop understanding of the programme and project health; escalate issues as needed
• Analyze financial data (budgets, risks, resources) and present conclusions to roadmap managers
• Collaborate with business & IT stakeholders to define and develop the Portfolio Roadmap
• Maintain programme KPIs and present data via dashboards
• Secretarial support for governance meetings (liaising with stakeholders, pack production, minutes)
• Support project management team with ad hoc requirements

• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Two years of experience in a similar role
• Good analytical skills for data modelling, querying, and data quality assessment
• Advanced MS Excel (formulas, tables) and Power BI
• Excellent organizational skills; proactive and able to work independently
• Understanding of project status reporting and project/programme financials
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall governance models
• Willingness to learn the programme in detail to support the programme manager
