Property Accountant

Preparation/Review of monthly bank and loan reconciliations, including related interest calculations

• Full cycle accounting, including A/R and A/P function (with invoice coding) and preparation of journal entries (e.g. land purchase, land sales, cost recoveries, etc), trial balance review, account reconciliations, job costing and allocation reasonability
• Shared responsibility for maintaining the AP inbox for assigned portfolio of companies including but not limited to receipt of invoices, vendor management, invoice queries, etc.
• Track and reconcile lot discharges and house closings
• Track and reconcile LCs – including setup, reductions and cancellations as received
• Reconcile intercompany accounts
• Preparation of monthly reporting for internal and external participants
• Monitor and manage cash flow on development projects, including preparation of cash flow forecasts, cash progress funding draws, and analysis of loan and letter of credit utilization
• Preparation of cash calls, distributions and equity reconciliations
