Property Accountant

A well-established commercial real estate firm is seeking a Property Accountant to join its growing, collaborative team. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role offers valuable exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to take on a range of accounting and operational responsibilities, primarily utilizing Yardi. This is an excellent opportunity to build hands-on experience in financial transactions and reconciliations across a portfolio of real estate properties.

The ideal candidate will bring 1 - 3+ years of real estate/property accounting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules for real estate properties.
• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including payables, receivables, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support monthly and annual close processes, financial reporting, and reconciliations. xhqgsiq
• Assist with audits, financial analysis, and compliance with accounting standards and property agreements.

Qualifications:

• 1 - 3+ years of real estate/property accounting experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, or QuickBooks
