Proposition IT Bid Manager

In this role you will lead the IT bid process for transport tenders, coordinating input from product and platform teams to craft compelling submissions. You will bridge Digital & Technology, bid teams, suppliers and stakeholders, shaping the narrative and aligning solutions with organisational goals and strategy. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, cost modelling, and effective engagement to progress bids. You’ll operate in a transformation-minded environment, with hybrid work in London (or Leicester) and site visits as needed.

• Coordinate technology inputs from Product Managers and platforms teams to build IT bid responses
• Gather and share information for RFI and RFP processes
• Create narrative and product vision for bids and build the overall story for submissions
• Understand the technological roadmap, projections and backlog
• Own and manage supplier relationships from a bid perspective
• Cost model supplier quotes and negotiate pricing with procurement/ finance support
• Drive bids forward through effective supplier engagement

• Proven experience in bidding or IT Bid Management within a transport setting
• Ability and experience liaising with multiple Product Managers
• Strong technological understanding
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Experience coordinating across multiple teams
• Demonstrated ability to engage with both white-collar and blue-collar associates
