Overview

As a PROS Developer, you design, configure, and extend PROS Smart CPQ solutions to support fast, accurate, and scalable quoting within sales processes. You collaborate in a cross-functional Agile squad to align CPQ work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Dataverse integrations. You will implement end-to-end Lead-to-Quote and Quote-to-Order journeys, ensuring reliability and maintainability. The role sits within Softcat’s Internal Technology team undergoing a strategic technology transformation, offering growth and impactful work. Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and develop PROS Smart CPQ solutions
  • Develop and maintain integrations between PROS Smart CPQ, Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems
  • Work with APIs, integration services and event-based patterns to move data across platforms
  • Produce maintainable, documented configurations and code
  • Design for operational support including logging, monitoring, error handling, and diagnostics
  • Investigate and resolve PROS platform, configuration, integration and quoting issues
Key requirements
  • Hands-on experience implementing or developing enterprise CPQ solutions, ideally PROS Smart CPQ
  • Understanding of CPQ concepts (product catalogs, configuration rules, pricing, quoting, approvals, document generation)
  • Experience extending/integrating SaaS applications via APIs and platform extensions
  • Experience with web technologies and scripting (JavaScript/TypeScript, JSON, REST APIs)
  • Experience integrating CPQ with CRM platforms; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience desirable
  • Experience working in Agile delivery teams (sprint planning, refinement, demos, retrospectives)
