NaphCare is hiring a treating Psychiatrist to join our specialized THRIVE Jail Based Competency to Stand Trial Treatment Program in San Diego, CA.

The Jail-Based Competency Treatment (JBCT) program, a California Department of State Hospitals (DSH) satellite program, operates as a 30-bed adult male unit at the San Diego Central Jail. Our patients receive psychiatric and mental health services aimed at restoring their competency to stand trial so that they may proceed with pending criminal charges in the court system and move forward in their lives in a healthier place.

Although the position is an onsite , full-time (40 hour/week) position, NaphCare will work with the candidate to determine a schedule that best meets the employee and program needs between business days of Monday through Friday (e.g., four 10-hour days vs. five 8-hour days).
