Seeking a qualified Pediatric PsychiatryPhysician for locum tenens coverage in Boston, Massachusetts. This opportunityinvolves providing inpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents ages3-18. The physician will round on the inpatient unit, manage an average dailycensus of 10 patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team ofphysicians and advanced practice providers.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Compensation: $250 - $260 PerHour

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inpatient psychiatric rounds and evaluate pediatric and adolescent patients.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage psychiatric conditions, including depression, suicidal ideation, PTSD, personality disorders, and oppositional or defiant behaviors.
  • Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Monitor patient progress, treatment response, and safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical staff to coordinate care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic.
  • Support appropriate discharge planning and continuity of care.
Qualifications
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Board certification in Psychiatry, with pediatric and adolescent psychiatry qualifications as required.
  • Active Massachusetts medical license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
