Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient & Telehealth

Schedule:

  • Outpatient Adult Psychiatry: Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • No scheduled patients during lunch
  • Average 7 14 outpatient visits/day
  • Weekend on-call coverage approximately 1 week every 6 7 weeks
  • Weekend call: Friday 5:00 PM Monday 8:00 AM
  • Available by phone 24/7 during call
  • Daily inpatient rounds during weekend call

Inpatient Coverage:

  • Acute Behavioral Health Stabilization Unit
  • Average daily census: 12 across units
  • Weekend psychiatrist evaluates/accepts new admissions and rounds on current inpatients
  • Admissions required

Call:

  • Beeper
  • 30-minute response time
  • Approximately 2 phone consults/call
  • Approximately 12 patients seen
  • Approximately 2 admissions

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Fellowship preferred
  • Montana medical license or IMLC
  • BLS
  • Hospital privileges required

  • Anxiety and affective disorders
  • ADD/ADHD
  • Personality, eating, developmental, psychotic and organic disorders
  • Involuntary commitments
  • Seclusion and restraint
  • Pharmacotherapy
  • Group and family therapy
  • ECT
