Public Sector Technical Manager - Infrastructure and Data Centre projects

In this Public Sector Technical Manager role, you will lead delivery of infrastructure and data centre projects onsite with HPE partners and clients in the UK. You’ll guide enterprise solutions from detailed technical design to implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams in a hybrid cloud environment. You’ll drive architecture, risk management and customer value, shaping solutions that meet stringent security and performance requirements. This position offers visibility across bids, sales support, and knowledge-sharing within a high-performing community.

• Verify and implement detailed technical designs for enterprise solutions
• Lead technical assessments and delivery of specific solutions to customers
• Coordinate installations, designs and migrations across networks, applications or platforms
• Provide advanced technical consulting on proposals, solution design, system management and optimization
• Develop customer technology solutions using industry products and technologies
• Share knowledge within the team and coach others in area of expertise
• Contribute to company strategy and sales activities, including proposals for engagements
• Grow the company portfolio with existing customers through new opportunities and change management
• Manage bids and provide quantitative information for successful sales
• Present technical content to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead a team of consultants across multiple deliverables and technologies
• Independently complete solution implementation or application design deliverables

• 8+ years of professional experience with a Bachelor in Computer Science or equivalent (11+ years with no degree)
• Experience in UK Public Sector environments
• Experience dealing with highly secure solutions and networks
• Deep technical knowledge to design and scope multiple deliverables across various technologies
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver multiple projects
• Ability to develop scalable, available and agile customer solutions
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Vendor or industry certification in at least one discipline
• Ability to work in a multi-technology environment and diagnose root causes
