Overview

In this role you will own the IT architecture and data platform for a global, multi-asset quantitative team at a high-profile hedge fund. You will shape the platform by integrating custom-built and third-party applications to meet business needs and timelines. The role combines hands-on development with collaboration across technical, management and business stakeholders. You will apply strong coding practices to deliver robust, scalable solutions while continuously learning about finance. This is an opportunity to impact a fast-moving, data-driven trading environment across Marco, Systematic and HDT strategies.

Responsibilities
  • own the IT architecture and data platform supporting a global, multi-asset quantitative team
  • develop and implement a robust platform of custom applications and integrate third-party tools
  • participate in design and development with direct communication to technical, management and business resources
  • ensure software delivered meets business needs and timelines
  • architect, create and administer automated data capture and processing systems
  • maintain good coding practices including version control, unit testing and style conventions
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in C# and Python development
  • degree in Maths, Statistics, Physics or Engineering
  • proficiency in Python, C#, SQL
