Python C++ Omniverse Developer Co-op

Build Omniverse extensions with Python and C++ at Eclipse Automation in Cambridge, Ontario, working on-site in a full-time co-op placement.

As a Software Developer Co-op, you will support extensions, connectors, and applications involving digital twins, artificial intelligence, and custom automation. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders while contributing to manufacturing’s digital transformation. The position suits students enrolled in a post-secondary computer science, engineering, or related program requiring a co-op work term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain Omniverse extensions
• Use Python, C++, and USD across development tasks
• Troubleshoot and test Omniverse extensions and connectors
• Participate in daily sprint sessions and provide feedback
• Track tasks, bugs, progress, and milestones through Azure DevOps

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a qualifying post-secondary co-op program
• Familiarity with Python and/or C++
• Knowledge of OpenUSD and NVIDIA Omniverse is advantageous
• Familiarity with DCC software, CAD, or spatial computing
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
