Overview
In this role you will join a blockchain-focused development team to build a new P2P trading system for energy use. You’ll simulate P2P networks and implement blockchain solutions on custom IoT hardware, while driving continuous improvement. The work sits at the intersection of energy data analytics and scalable, serverless platforms in a fast-paced, open culture. You will shape how blockchain enables energy distribution at scale and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact tech.
Responsibilities- Build a new P2P trading system within a dedicated blockchain team
- Simulate P2P networks using local and cloud resources
- Implement and test blockchain & P2P solutions on custom IoT hardware
- Contribute to continuous improvement to boost efficiency and quality
- 3+ years commercial experience with Python
- Experience with Git and/or Bitbucket
- Experience in an Agile environment
- MSc/BSc in computer science, mathematics, engineering or related field
- Experience building web-based services and APIs
- Understanding of system performance and optimization strategies
- Experience with logging, monitoring and alerting tools
- Interested in Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies
