Job Description Python Developer - Glasgow - Python/FastAPI/Pydantic - FTC TrinIT Talent are looking for a Python Developer to come on board for a 1-year Fixed Term Contract based in Glasgow . This role requires 3 days per week on-site in Glasgow, which is non-negotiable and is paying £80k Job Description:- We are looking for a strong, hands-on Python Developer with extensive recent experience building and supporting production-grade Python applications and services. The successful candidate will have strong FastAPI and Pydantic experience and be comfortable taking ownership of production services, reusable libraries, APIs and automation. This is an out-and-out development position requiring someone who can hit the ground running and independently deliver production-ready solutions. Experience working with Collibra or similar metadata management technologies is required. Previous Financial Services experience would be highly advantageous but is not essential. Key skills:- Extensive recent hands-on Python development experience Strong commercial FastAPI development experience Strong Pydantic experience including data modelling, validation, schema design and serialization Building and owning production-grade Python services, APIs, reusable libraries and automation REST API development and service integration Strong SQL development skills Production engineering experience including Pytest, Git, code reviews and CI/CD Experience with deployment, monitoring and production support Understanding of batching, retries, idempotency, caching and performance optimisation Experience with data contracts, schema versioning, lineage and data quality Financial Services experience would be advantageous Able to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions from day one If you feel you have the right experience for this role, please get in touch by sending your CV in Word format to (see below) TrinIT Talent will consider applications based only on skills and ability and will not discriminate on any grounds.
