Python Developer - Hedge Fund - London

There is a new role with a Hedge Fund in London looking for a Python Developer to join their Middle Office Technology function on a contract basis.

The role is to work on an existing project to deliver a platform for Equities Trading Data, specifically delivering new applications for trade lifecycle management, event processing, P&L calculations and Data Enrichment. The focus is designing and building new solutions and Python-based services for large-scale data calculations and transformations, aswell as distributing P&L.

They are looking for a Developer with extensive Python Development experience within Capital Markets, good knowledge of various Python libraries including pandas, Polars and NumPy, and experience with REST services. An interest in AI-assisted development and developer productivity is also useful as the environment is very much AI-first.

This is for a rolling 6 month contract inside IR35 working fully onsite in Central London. Rate is negotiable up to £700/day
