Job description:

We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance system reliability. The ideal candidate should have strong Python programming skills, experience in automation frameworks, API integrations, scripting, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts and frameworks using Python.

• Design end-to-end automation solutions for business and IT processes.

• Automate repetitive tasks, workflows, system administration activities, and reporting processes.

• Integrate applications and services through REST APIs, web services, and third-party tools.

• Develop reusable modules, libraries, and utilities for automation.

• Build scheduling and monitoring mechanisms for automated processes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve automation failures and performance issues.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement automation solutions.

• Create technical documentation, workflow diagrams, and automation runbooks.

• Ensure security, scalability, and compliance standards are followed in automation implementations.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.

• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting.

• Knowledge of:

o Python Libraries: Pandas, Requests, Selenium, PyAutoGUI, OpenPyXL

o API Integration (REST/SOAP)

o JSON, XML, YAML

o Regular Expressions

• Experience with:

o Task scheduling (Cron, Task Scheduler, Airflow)

o Git/GitHub/Azure DevOps

o SQL databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

o Linux and Windows environments

• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.

Automation Tools

Experience with one or more:

• Selenium

• Playwright

• Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools such as UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere

• API Testing tools (Postman, Swagger)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• Experience in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Relevant certifications in Python, Automation, Azure, or RPA are a plus.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

• Proactive approach to identifying automation opportunities.

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI-powered automation solutions.

• Knowledge of Machine Learning libraries and automation use cases.

• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps).

• Exposure to Enterprise IT Operations, Monitoring, and Service Management tools.
