Overview

In this Python Engineer role at a prominent prop trading client, you build and optimize automated trading tools that analyze large data sets to inform strategy. You collaborate with research teams to design and refine trading algorithms and scale the firm’s software infrastructure. You’ll help extend the proprietary research platform to support new exchanges, products, and functionality, contributing to a high-performance tech environment. Responsibilities
  • Analyze large data sets to inform trading decisions
  • Collaborate with research teams to architect, implement and analyze automated trading algorithms
  • Build and scale the firm’s software infrastructure for new and existing businesses
  • Expand the proprietary research platform to support new exchanges, products and functionality
Key requirements
  • 2 years of solid Python engineering
  • Commitment to writing testable, maintainable code
  • Advanced to expert Python development with data analysis packages ( NumPy, Pandas)
  • Experience with SQL and/or other databases
  • Knowledge of AWS, Airflow, Docker, GitLab and Redis
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Dash, Plotly) to some extent
