Overview
In this role you will develop financial analytics tools within a leading Quant client’s ecosystem. You’ll bridge back-end Python services with front-end components to support risk management and market data analytics. You work across multiple languages and development methodologies to deliver scalable fintech solutions. You will optimize existing tools, implement data-driven improvements and integrate with external services. This role offers impact across analytics, reporting and data infrastructure in a fast-paced, finance-focused environment.
Responsibilities- Develop cutting-edge FinTech tools and systems to enhance analytics, reporting and risk management
- Design and optimize data structures and software to improve efficiency
- Build scalable processes and systems for internal/external apps and data integration
- Apply probability, statistics, and numerical methods to improve product offerings
- Deliver complex software projects with sound development processes and tooling
- Work across multiple languages and development methodologies
- Develop both traditional applications and services delivered as a product
- Commercial Python development experience
- Django Framework experience
- Some frontend JavaScript experience
- Interest in finance
- BSc in Maths Stats, Physics or Engineering
- Experience with multiple languages (Python, R, SQL) and development methodologies
- Track record of delivering complex software projects and implementing solid development processes
