Python Full Stack Software Engineer II

In this role, you will build data pipelines and tools to support MRGR analytics, enabling reliable downstream reporting and automation. You will integrate ongoing performance monitoring for models within business applications using Python and in-house frameworks. You’ll leverage AI-assisted development tools to boost speed, code quality, and documentation, while emphasizing secure coding and data controls. You will collaborate across teams to explore LLM-enabled solutions and contribute to workflow automation that supports MRGR staff and governance objectives. This is a hands-on role at JPMorgan Chase focused on scalable, responsible AI-enabled risk governance.
Responsibilities- Build data pipelines to fetch, validate, transform and deliver data for analytics, automation, and reporting
- Integrate model performance monitoring into applications via Python and in-house frameworks
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify LLM integration opportunities and develop solutions
- Create intelligent tools to support MRGR staff activities, including workflow automation and insight generation
- Apply SDLC knowledge and secure coding standards to improve automation and reliability
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
- Bachelor or Master degree in STEM with programming exposure
- Proficient in Python; knowledge of Tornado web framework; TypeScript; React
- Strong understanding of software architecture, OOP and design patterns
- Excellent communication to interface with business requirements
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools and ability to evaluate AI outputs
- Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and security expectations
