Python / Fullstack Developers

Requirements:

• Strong commercial experience as a Full Stack Developer with Python (Django or Flask)
• Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
• Solid frontend experience (React, Vue or similar JavaScript framework)
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and API design
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI/CD pipelines
• Comfortable working in an agile environment
• Experience in retail, e-commerce or high-traffic consumer platforms is advantageous
• Must be able to work on-site in London 2 days per week

Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain full stack web applications with a Python backend
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs
• Work across both backend services and frontend interfaces
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA and other engineers
• Write clean, tested, maintainable code and participate in code review
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making within the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the stack in a production environment

We are a global retail business seeking a Full Stack Python Developer to join our technology team on an initial 6-month contract, with a view to extend. This is a hands‑on role working across the full stack to build and maintain customer‑facing and internal platforms. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week required on‑site at our London office. The contract rate is £650-£750 per day, inside IR35.
