Python Programmer Analyst Montreal

Build Python business tools with TMX Group in a hybrid Montreal role, applying software design and troubleshooting expertise. Work onsite two to three days weekly.

As a Programmer Analyst, you will support Operation and Risk teams within Global Technology Services. The experienced multidisciplinary squad uses Kanban and includes Developers, Analyst-testers, Business Analysts, and Architects. Your work covers architecture, design, development, maintenance, testing, and code reviews for enterprise applications and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain business automation tools for Operations teams
• Develop Python business tools supporting Operation and Risk teams
• Elaborate and execute tests before delivery
• Challenge requirements, designs, and testing cycles collaboratively
• Conduct code reviews following enterprise standards

Requirements:

• University degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Five years’ Analyst Programmer experience, including three Python years
• Strong object-oriented programming and software design experience
• Enterprise application development, maintenance, and troubleshooting experience
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English
