In this Software Engineer III role within Corporate Technology, you will be a senior contributor shaping trusted, market-leading tech products with a focus on security, stability, and scalability. Responsibilities- Execute end-to-end software solutions across design, development and troubleshooting to address complex problems
- Develop secure, high-quality production code and maintain algorithms synchronized with systems
- Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications ensuring constraints are met
- Analyze large, diverse data sets to support continuous improvement and reporting
- Identify patterns in data to drive improvements in code hygiene and system architecture
- Contribute to engineering communities of practice and explore new technologies
- Foster a diverse, inclusive, collaborative team culture
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and secure coding standards
- Apply SDLC tools and automation to maximize impact of development efforts
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with practical applied experience
- Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large-scale environment with modern programming and database querying languages
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security
- Knowledge of software applications and technical processes in areas like cloud, Databricks, AI/ML, mobile, etc.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools and ability to critically evaluate AI outputs
