QA Analyst

London | Hybrid | Up to £40,000 + Bonus

A growing specialist insurance business is looking to appoint a QA Analyst to join its Technology team.

This opportunity offers genuine ownership of quality assurance activities within a collaborative technology function, where quality is viewed as a key part of successful delivery rather than simply a testing exercise.

Working closely with Delivery, Business Analysis and Project Management teams, the successful candidate will take responsibility for QA and UAT activities across a variety of business and technology initiatives, helping to ensure systems and processes are delivered to a consistently high standard.

The Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Owning QA and UAT activities across projects and change initiatives
  • Designing, documenting and executing test plans and test cases
  • Performing functional and regression testing
  • Identifying, logging and tracking defects through to resolution
  • Working closely with stakeholders across Technology and the wider business
  • Communicating testing progress, risks and outcomes clearly and effectively
  • Supporting the continuous improvement of testing processes and standards

    Skills & Experience

    The successful candidate will possess:

    • Previous experience as a QA Analyst, Test Analyst or Software Tester
    • Strong manual testing experience
    • Experience creating and executing test plans and test cases
    • Experience managing and tracking defects
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
    • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership

      Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and working within Agile delivery environments would be advantageous.

      • Salary up to £40,000

        Location
