Overview
In this secondment, you will safeguard the quality, stability, and accessibility of UCL’s digital systems. You’ll collaborate with developers, analysts, and product owners to design and run tests, document results, and track defects to resolution. You’ll contribute to testing strategy during updates, features, and integrations, and provide QA support during deployments and UAT. This role offers hands-on growth in a fast-paced delivery environment within UCL’s digital platform portfolio.

- Design, maintain, and execute test cases and scripts for updates and integrations
- Identify, log, and track defects with engineering teams
- Participate in requirements gathering to ensure clear, testable criteria
- Produce concise test reports and exit summaries for deployment readiness
- Provide local and remote QA support during critical deployments and UAT phases
- Analytical skills to diagnose issues and identify root causes
- Clear documentation of test cases, scripts, and defect reports
- Strong communication to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
