Overview

In this role you contribute to QA at Vision-Box within Amadeus, ensuring product releases meet quality and security standards in a travel tech context. You design and execute test strategies, plans and cases, align with CI/CD and quality guidelines, and drive test automation where appropriate. You mentor peers, share knowledge, and advocate for best practices across teams. You work on-site at airports and with customers, collaborating cross-functionally to manage risk and improve release quality. This role offers impact through shaping testing approaches in a high-stakes biometric travel solutions environment.

Responsibilities
  • Define test strategy and plan with functional and non-functional test cases and ensure traceability to specifications and requirements
  • Design and execute test cases, prepare environments/data, and provide go/no-go sign-off based on exit criteria
  • Maintain and enhance regression/CI/CD test suites; adapt tests for new features and metrics
  • Participate in PTR investigations, test fixes, and enrich test suites
  • Assess need for test automation, contribute to automation framework and improvements
  • Open, triage and verify defects; communicate status to developers and product teams
  • Report testing activities and milestones to stakeholders; provide visibility into testing campaigns
  • Mentor newcomers and provide support to QA peers
  • Share knowledge on technical/functional topics within QA and related teams
  • Promote QA best practices and drive improvements in testing processes and tools
  • Efficiently use QA tooling stack and propose improvements or new tools
  • Drive continuous improvement of QA processes within development lifecycle frameworks (e.g., SAFE)
  • Consider environmental impact of tested applications and QA activities
Key requirements
  • Must be able to obtain UK SC Clearance (minimum 5 years UK residence)
