QA Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong hands-on testing and automation experience to join a multidisciplinary Agile delivery team. You will act as a quality lead across the software delivery lifecycle, working with Developers, Business Analysts, DevOps and business stakeholders to define test strategies, drive automation, lead UAT and ensure high-quality releases. The role also involves influencing QA standards, mentoring colleagues and driving continuous improvement across delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement test strategies aligned to requirements, scope and risk.
• Plan and execute manual, automated and exploratory testing .
• Design and maintain automated test suites and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines .
• Perform functional, regression, API, performance, accessibility and security testing.
• Lead and coordinate UAT with business stakeholders.
• Manage defects, triage issues and support root-cause analysis.
• Provide clear reporting on test progress, risks and release readiness.
• Use Azure DevOps or equivalent for test and defect management.
• Promote testability and quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to QA standards, frameworks and continuous improvement across teams.
• Coach and mentor other QA engineers and provide quality leadership where required.
• Strong software testing experience within Agile environments .
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD.
• Experience across functional, regression, API and UAT testing.
• Strong defect management and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience contributing to testing strategy and quality standards.
