Overview
In this role you will ensure quality across a greenfield fintech project, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and meet reliability, usability, and performance standards. You will work closely with Product and Support to shape the quality bar and guide release readiness. You’ll balance automated and manual testing to uncover issues early and drive scalable quality practices. The position offers a chance to influence a high-impact product in a relaxed, fast-paced tech environment. This is a remote, London-based opportunity with a strong emphasis on hands-on testing and automation where you can shape the product’s quality culture.
Responsibilities- Test within Agile scrum/kanban teams
- Plan and execute testing around product stories and bugs
- Participate in sprint standups, demos, and retrospectives
- Create and maintain QA documentation: test plan, test scenarios, checklists
- Collaborate with Product and Support to determine required quality levels
- Measure and record quality to determine feature readiness for deployment
- Define and execute a regression testing strategy
- Strive for automated testing while recognizing when manual testing is appropriate
- Investigate quality-related customer complaints with Support
- Work with Product to ensure requirements cover quality
- At least 2 years of software testing experience
- Proficiency in Java
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in quality inspection and testing
- Experience in quality planning, execution, and recording
- Experience in regression testing planning and execution
- Strong mobile and desktop user skills
- Knowledge of QA tools, concepts, and methodologies
