Compensation & Role Details

Expected Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Focus on building a performance testing architecture and performance testing the cloud-based microservices and Point of Sale application.
• Test and try to break the next generation Volanté product that runs on the latest technologies using advanced testing techniques.
• Execute test cases manually and using automation scripts with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity and Xray, and analyze test results.
• Attend Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, refinement, planning, and retrospective sessions.
• Have an exploratory mindset while testing and work with other teams to resolve issues.

Qualifications

• 3‑8 years of professional experience in performance testing software systems that run on Java microservices. Experience in API & UI automation is a plus.
• Completed a degree or Master’s program in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar streams.
• Knowledge of software and/or testing methodologies.
• Strong programming skills (Java, C, C++, JavaScript, or similar).
• Experience with data structures or algorithms gathered from inside or outside of school or work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Available to work full time at the office in North York and flexible to work from home.
