QA Lead - GC1713-09

• The client is looking for someone who carries the quality assurance practice across several ecosystems, rather than a resource assigned to testing for a single team.
  
• The role is strategic first: design an end-to-end testing strategy, get it approved, then communicate it to the project leads of each workstream so delivery teams apply it.
  
• Leadership is exercised through influence, supporting architects and teams, in close collaboration with the other QA analysts.
  
• The mandate covers two distinct types of testing: integration testing, which requires understanding technical requirements, and configuration testing, which requires understanding business requirements, echoing the group insurance software packages listed as assets.
  
• The tools named as required (JIRA, XRAY, Cypress, Playwright) anchor the strategy in concrete tooling.
  

Requirements

Required:

• Agile projects and knowledge of frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, others)
  
• Knowledge of JIRA and XRAY
  
• Knowledge of Cypress and Playwright
  
• Command of French, spoken and written
  
• Command of English, spoken and written
  

Asset:

• Scaled agile (SAFe, LeSS, DAD)
  
• Group insurance software packages (Vitech, Global IQX, Fineos, Telus)
