Overview
As a QA Engineer at NTT DATA, you will drive quality across cross‑functional squads in an Agile setting. You’ll collaborate with developers, BAs, product managers, testers, and delivery leads to refine requirements, plan tests, and mitigate risk. You’ll lead testing activities within your squad, contribute to test strategy and automation, and continuously improve QA processes. This role combines hands-on automation with strong communication to deliver reliable software at pace, across cloud devices and APIs.

- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories
- Communicate risk and ensure risk mitigation in project delivery
- Create test estimates, plan, schedule, and report on progress
- Work with Test Manager to improve team processes and monitor progress
- Participate in agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews) and lead day‑to‑day squad activities
- Analyze business specification documents and assist in Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Scope, and Test Case definition
- Pursue continuous improvement of testing processes and optimize QA results
- Understand functional requirements and design documents and work in a team-oriented environment
- Perform automation testing
- Test using tools such as Blazemeter and Jira
- Assist management in planning and preparing upcoming projects
- Provide feedback on PoCs to improve the testing process
- Python, Cucumber‑BDD, Gitlab experience
- Experience with remote cloud devices (Perfecto, BrowserStack, HeadSpin) or similar
- Blazemeter, Postman, API testing and HTTP methods
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
